New Android-powered Xperia X10 smartphone has been recently launched by Sony.

The handset features a 4-inch display and its heart is the fast 1GHz Snapdragon processor.

Sony Xperia X10 boasts an 8.1 megapixel camera (with LED flash) that features a number of useful functions such as smile detection, face recognition and autofocus.

The smartphone has 8 gigabytes of built-in memory and comes with a 2 gigabyte in-box memory card. It is worth mentioning that the memory can be expanded up to 32 gigabytes.

It is also loaded with Mediscape and Timescape. Paul Hamnett, senior Sony Ericsson VP, says that Mediascape on the Xperia X10 is used to collect music, photos, videos and content from the device’s memory card and online, allowing the user to “browse, search, listen and share media from one unified view.”

As for the Timescape, Mr. Hamnett says that it represents a communication application that “automatically organizes social interactions in chronological order”, which allows users to keep in touch wherever they are.

The device will be available in black. Its price will be $ 130 – $ 150.
